The Omron RS4 is a more advanced model of wrist cuff that works on the oscillometric principle. The meter measures blood pressure on the wrist. When the wrist cuff inflates, the meter detects changes in the pressure on the walls of the veins and calculates blood pressure using algorithms. It also measures the heart rate and detects an irregular heartbeat. It also calculates the average of three measurements. It is designed primarily for home use.
