Fever is a warning signal from the body that needs to be detected and observed. It is usually a measurable symptom of illness. To detect fever, the TM 700 fever thermometer from Medisana is a useful tool for monitoring your own health. The measurement result is displayed on the display after ten seconds, optionally in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. An acoustic signal informs you when the measurement is ready and the measurement is complete.
Memory function
The TM 700 fever thermometer also remembers the last measurement result thanks to its automatic memory function and briefly displays it on the LCD display when it is switched on again. The thermometer switches off automatically ten minutes after the measurement if you forget to switch it off, thus saving battery life. After being inserted into the measuring device, the TM 700 is easy and hygienic to clean, as it is waterproof and can be wiped with a cloth soaked in a mild alcohol solution.
Precise measurement with flexible sensor tip
With the TM 700, you can accurately measure body temperature in three ways: oral (under the tongue), axillary (in the armpit) and rectal (in the anus). The thermometer for measuring fever is also equipped with a flexible sensor tip that adapts to the contours of the body. This means, for example, painless placement of the thermometer for rectal measurement. If the thermometer detects a temperature above 37.8 degrees Celsius, it will trigger a fever alarm in the form of short beeps, which is a practical aid for you.
